FREE PRINTABLE EASTER PLANNER

 

MY GOODNESS! IT'S APRIL AND EASTER IS UPON US!

It seems like just last week we were planning Christmas - how time flies! (I'm pretty sure I say this every year... must be a symptom of getting older lol!)

Before I launch into the Easter Planner however, a quick apology for being gone for so long. The short version of the story is that I wasn't well for a few weeks, and, as happens, that sent everything off kilter for a few more weeks. Sigh.




But.... it meant I had plenty of time to plan and think and sort out some awesome stuff to put up on the blog for Easter. So I've got some very exciting little things coming up over the next week.

I think I've even got more posts than days left, so we'll see how that goes!


1. GIFT PLANNER: 


This is a quick and simple gift list so you don't forget to buy for anyone. I've called it gifts because more and more these days, I'm finding people are saying to me 'Please, no chocolate!'.

Seriously, in our family alone, we have people with allergies, no-sugar diets, sugar sensitive teeth, and those who are such massive Chocaholics they eat none of the good stuff over Easter lest they spend the rest of the year paying for it. I've also got my nieces and nephew who are so overloaded with chocolate from a huge, well meaning family, that my sister often asks me to pretty please buy them something else.

So please don't think I'm pushing Easter to be a second Christmas (mummys-definitely-gonna-have-a-breakdown lol!), it's just that in reality, for us at least, we are giving little gifts more and more.


 2. EASTER DINNER PLANNER:


This is very similar to the planner I used for Christmas and it's a great way to get all your thoughts and planning organized if you are entertaining over the break. This year we'll be having a barbecue at a park for about 8 adults and 3 kids, however last year I cooked a proper big Easter Sunday celebration dinner and this would have been so handy.

Also, I've just included hors d'oeuvres and petits fours because it sounds better than 'Chips and Dip' and 'Stuff to have with Coffee' lol! But it's also because I have a tendency to forget them.


3. EASTER BAKING: 

I do a lot of baking at Easter time, and often make my own chocolate treats rather than buying them.

This works in with the Recipes page below if you want it to, and the 'By:' space can be used either for a date, like cakes to be made before an Easter Fair, or for a name if your kids will be doing some Easter baking too.

4. EASTER RECIPES:


This is a page for all your special Easter Recipes like Simnel Cake and Hot Cross Buns, it's much the same as the other Recipe Pages I've done.


4. EASTER PROJECTS:


Just to help organize all your craft and decorating projects for the holiday, watch out for a few I'll be putting up over the next few days!


5. EASTER SHOPPING LIST, TO DO AND NOTES:


These are pretty basic, and you've seen similar ones before in my Home Organizer Printables, but it's just so nice when things match, I couldn't help myself and had to do matching Easter ones.
